The Cape Barren Goose is native to Australia and resides in small numbers on the islands of Bass Straight, the graveyard of ships, between Victoria and Tasmania. Lately, its numbers have been increasing. It is truly a majestic bird, with chartreuse skin covering the top part of its bill.
