These baby Eastern Quolls were being raised at a sanctuary near Lithgow, as part of an amazing conservation project. Completely extinct on the Australian mainland, these imports from Tasmania are the hope that numbers in captivity will climb high enough that they can re-populate the habitat they once lost. And we’ll see Eastern quolls again in the wild.
