The Joy of Flannel Flowers. There are so many ways flannel flowers bring joy. They are harbingers of springtime, being one of the early bloomers in the coastal heaths of eastern Australia. Their petals are soft like animal fur and they don’t mind at all if you touch them. The slightest breeze sets a cluster to dancing with each other.
My interpretation had to capture this essence, so I kept the foreground colours true and natural and made the background colours bright and almost sparkling.
